Potato skillet stuff


  • 1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
  • 5-6 medium potatoes
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste


Brown ground beef with diced onion and garlic. Then drain fat. Shred the potatoes with a cheese grater and put in skillet. Cook with medium high heat turning occasionally until potatoes are translucent. Press the mix down uniformly in the skillet. Allow the potatoes to brown turning in slices. When the potatoes are golden, sprinkle cheese over and serve.
